THE 4.40 WHAT TODAY’S TAUGHT ME on The Alex Lester Show ISABEL: I've learned my daughter survived Magaluf and got back in one piece DAVID HOOK: Yesterday's taught me that leaving a Festival at same time as everyone else requires more patience than everything else. ROB from YEOVIL: Today has taught me that my mobile is always flat when I have a really good answer for night flash. Just like yesterday! PAUL: Whilst getting ready for work at 1.30 this morning - in the dark -I learned exactly where the upturned plug of 'THE WIFES' hair straightners was. It’s the least fun I've had whilst being naked in my bedroom ever! DAVE: In the last 24 hours I've discovered that it's probably best to remember to take your door keys with you when you go out to a rock concert, thus avoiding having to sleep on a neighbour's settee until after 6am when the security system goes off. AND all of his drink was in my fridge! BERT: I’ve learned this: don't eat a huge cheese board just before bedtime. I’ve had many very strange dreams and I am wide awake now DOC: today has taught me that tuning into Radio 2 at 4.03am and getting an earful of Adam Ant is probably the most productive thing I'll do all day TRACIE: Today has taught me that whichever route my husband and I take for a walk, all routes lead to the pub MARTIN KELLY: Today I've learnt how to use this new phone to make it on to the 4.40!
