I am Dragana Jevtovic and my guest this Sunday in “People of Note” will be mezzo soprano Violina Anguelov, resident artist with Cape Town Opera. Since coming to South Africa, twenty years ago from Bulgaria, Violina has performed regularly on the concert stage and has sung 33 operatic roles both here and abroad to great acclaim. He is RICHARD LORING, who has had an incredibly long and successful career as an actor, singer, director and impresario. After many years in charge of the Sound Stage in Johannesburg, Richard came to Cape Town recently to open a theatre supper club in Green Point called Richard’s.
