Do men and women judge things differently when it comes to the law? A study at Durham University has been looking at this question... They showed a group of law students some judgements on legal cases, and asked them to guess whether a man or a woman had made the decision. The students only identified the judge's right gender in just under half of the cases. * Do you think men and women look at things differently when it comes to punishment? * Are women more likely to be compassionate than men - or is that just a stereotype? * Do you think gender makes the biggest difference in the way we look at things - or are things like age and upbringing more influential? Jonathan will also be conducting his own experiment this morning on this - so finally, he wants to know your opinion on WHETHER WE SHOULD BRING BACK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT?
