"Well, I met one of my neighbors' dogs - he's a little bitty thing that sounds ferocious! I think he was thinking about attacking me but wasn't sure how to do that. My neighbor kept saying to him in that voice that people talk to their dogs in "it's okay, this is your neighbor."
