"Well, I met one of my neighbors' dogs - he's a little bitty thing that sounds ferocious! I think he was thinking about attacking me but wasn't sure how to do that. My neighbor kept saying to him in that voice that people talk to their dogs in "it's okay, this is your neighbor." I was trying not to laugh because I really don't think he understood the word neighbor as he continued to lunge his little body toward me. Wondering if you have a great "how I met my neighbors" story?" --Melody, Evenings

I have often thought that if someone is struggling with knowing God, a Creator that "created one's inmost being," that they only need witness the birth of a child. The intricacies of this process are so far beyond happenstance, that it is inconceivable to even consider coincidence. For those who favor logic over faith, please tell me "logically" how what took place in my daughter's life last week could have originated from or been orchestrated by anything other than the Master of the Universe. I am thankful that He is real, a real part of our lives, and in control. Psalm 139:13 - Scott from "Scott & Cat in the Afternoon."

"So I have a confession to make - I've been stressing out a bit about these little smile wrinkles that are showing up around my eyes. And, then I read this today from Proverbs: 'Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.' Thought I'd share it with you in case you also needed to be reminded tonight. Oh, and if you know of a good eye cream, I would appreciate the recommendation." --Melody, Evenings
