Wanted to share it in case it helps you today! ~Carlene Luke 5:6-8 "When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!" It's as if the fish have appeared out of nowhere, as if they have been dropped into the nets from out of the blue Galilean sky. It's the kind of catch of which legends are made, a net-ripping catch! They call their partners to bring the other boat over and heave to. Even with their help the boats almost sink. In response to the miraculous catch, Peter asks for what he really does not want - he asks for Jesus to leave. But what's so terrifying about a net full of fish? Even the miraculous fact that they had come from out of nowhere, out of a lake they knew was empty, is an occasion for wonder certainly, but fear? PRAY: When God gives us more than we prayed for, we usually don't know what to do. Pray that you will respond wisely when your prayers are answered in abundance. We started Monday with our “Day Of Hope” with special guests Gail McWilliams, Dan Frederickson, Ed Matter, and Earl Houtz. All of these interviews are available on our podcast page! We heard from over 716 households and are praising God for $165,000 worth of funding for ministry and projects as we go forward with everything God has called us to do in the near future: a new full-power station in Greybull, WY; a new FM translator in St. John ND; and New Life Radio Tanzania. We celebrated and remembered awesome highlights from the last 30 years - and now as we move forward, with a heart for continued local ministry as well as following God into international waters as we head towards ministry in Tanzania, we believe God has wonderful things in store for ALL of us as we continue to PRESS ON in Him, just like our theme for this year states, “We Press On.” We ask that if the Lord lays it on your heart to help fulfill some of our remaining financial need, that you prayerfully consider responding by calling 800-442-9222 or giving online at ynop.org
